Project Overview

For MDL Beast, the Middle East’s biggest music and cultural festival, NA Collective took on the styling of DJ Cosmicat—one of the Arab world’s most iconic female DJs—and Reema Badr, a leading regional influencer.

Our mission was to deliver looks that captured the bold, futuristic energy of the festival, while tailoring each outfit to the individual personality and platform of the talent. From on-stage performance styling to media interviews and influencer appearances, we ensured both women embodied MDL Beast’s spirit of innovation, creativity, and self-expression.

Our Approach

We divided our styling direction into two pillars: performance & media presence:

• DJ Cosmicat – Stage Styling

  • Curated a performance-ready look blending streetwear energy with high-fashion edge.

  • Materials and cuts were chosen to interact with stage lighting, amplifying her dynamic presence.

  • Prioritized comfort and mobility to support her high-energy set without compromising on style.

• DJ Cosmicat – Interview Styling

  • Selected a second look for media appearances that reflected her trailblazing persona with a more refined yet edgy tone, balancing approachability and star power.

  • Accessories and detailing emphasized her signature aesthetic while differentiating from her stage look.

• Reema Badr – Festival Styling

  • Styled with an elevated streetwear-meets-editorial direction, ensuring her look stood out within the influencer crowd.

  • Chosen pieces reflected both festival culture and her personal brand of modern elegance, creating shareable content moments across her platforms.

Our key priorities included:

• Visual Elegance & Immersive Media – We showcased each property through rich, high-resolution photography and immersive virtual tours to convey atmosphere, detail, and ambiance.

  
  

Key Challenges & Solutions

Balancing Fashion With Functionality
Cosmicat’s performance demanded freedom of movement, but she also needed to visually dominate a massive stage. We solved this by integrating lightweight, breathable materials with bold silhouettes that played with lighting and motion.

Maintaining Cohesion Across Multiple Looks
With both stage and interview appearances, consistency was key. We crafted a connected styling narrative that highlighted her boldness and individuality, while shifting tones between performance and media.

Differentiating Influencer & Artist Styling
Cosmicat and Reema Badr had very different roles at MDL Beast—one a performer, the other a guest and content creator. We embraced these contrasts by designing distinct styling directions that still felt cohesive within the festival’s aesthetic.
